Travel industry email-marketing firm Truvle notified customers it has laid off all its employees.
The company, which conducted its R&D efforts in Ra'anana, Israel, and fielded operations in the US and UK, laid off its nine remaining employees, seven of which worked in Israel.
Alon Zaibert, who headed US operations in Atlanta, notified customers via email May 9:

I am heart-broken and sorry to share with you that all of the truvle staff has been let go. I cannot share any further details at this point and on behalf of the team and myself I can only say we are sorry the company has gotten to this.
In an interview, Zaibert declined to provide the reasons behind Truvle’s demise, citing legal factors.
The company, founded in 2007, counted AAA Travel, Adelman, Portman Travel and Viator among its customers.
Truvle had raised some $5 million in funding.
The Trvuvle website says its software provided customers with interactive e-tickets and itineraries, among other features.
