EasyJet plans to unveil its slick new booking application for iPhone and Android tomorrow.
The app gives users access to a full range of capabilities including booking options and flight status as well as allowing them to book baggage, sports equipment and speedy boarding.
It also enables passengers to log in and manage flights and store future bookings in line with the airline's strategy to attract a greater chunk of the business travel market.
The app, which is available in five languages, has been developed in conjunction with Mobile Travel Technologies and uses its recently released Next Generation platform.
The technology enables travel companies to develop one app for all devices but adds a layer of code on top to take advantage of the capabilities within each device.
Release of the iPhone and Android app comes just two months after the airline unveiled a beta mobile site for Blackberry users.
An easyJet Deutschland app, developed by a separate company, is to be removed from the App Store with any users notified to download the new service.
The airline says further developments are in the pipeline for the app.
