Duetto, a revenue strategy service, said today that it has received a $30 million round of investment. This Series C round was led by Icon Ventures.
Also participating were past investors, such as Accel Partners, Altimeter Capital, Battery Ventures, Leland Pillsbury, and Marc Benioff.
The San Francisco startup had previously raised $33.2 million.
The company makes software-and-a-service tools that help businesses set rates in a more profitable way.
Its technology and its underlying math and concepts could help many types of businesses. But the company has been building tools to help the hospitality sector first. It has more than 1,000 hotels and casinos in more than 50 countries as clients. In a statement, the company said:

"Duetto is the only pricing solution able to handle the complexity of different customer segments, room categories, length of stay restrictions and distribution channels.
The company’s approach, combining Open Pricing and Big Data analysis, has enabled Duetto customers to far outpace their competitive sets, often seeing twice the rate of revenue growth over their competitors."
Duetto's key rivals include Rainmaker and IDeaS. See Tnooz's earlier review of the competitive landscape in this article: "Hotel revenue management software has its Pharrell Williams moment."
