SEO tip #4 - Internal linking:
Sites with many destinations and deep content structures should link to key areas/pages from stronger pages within the site, such as the homepage.
This passes the link strength effectively through your website.
Link through relevant keywords, such as "Florida holidays" or "Orlando hotels" and not with words such as ‘click here’ and ‘find out more’, as keyword rich links are a factor in determining the ranking of a page.
Use internal links frugally though - the more deep links on a page, the thinner the ranking strength.
Internal link text should be optimised to reflect the destination page.
For example, if the destination page is optimised for ‘holidays to Brazil’, don’t link internally with ‘flights to Brazil’.
