Cornerstone Information Systems unveiled a tool travel managers can use when all hell breaks loose in crisis situations such as the ongoing turmoil in Thailand or recent unrest in Greece.
As part of its iBank data-management platform, Cornerstone released a Crisis Management Reporting tool, which enables travel managers to pre-configure reports to ascertain which travelers are in a destination and which others will soon be traveling there.
The reports include air activity, departure, itinerary detail, trip detail, weekly traveler activity and passenger on a plane, Cornerstone says.
Cornerstone clients using iBank can run and distribute the crisis management reports according to their own schedules.
In the event of unexpected events impacting travel, travel managers also can create live custom searches using traveler name, flight number, carrier, company, cost center, origin and destination.
The reports can help travel managers navigate a crisis and take appropriate actions to safeguard their employees.
Cornerstone says the tool is available to iBank clients for free.
