When passengers are delayed at an airport there is usually some indication - however small - as to when services will get back to normal.
But not for those on an internal Air India flight between New Delhi and Bangalore, when passengers were left waiting in the terminal for almost 15 hours.
Of course, delays happen relatively often around the world - it's the nature of air travel that planes can be held up for various reasons - but in this case information as to what was happening was non-existent.
And such is the way with social media that a passenger recorded the whole thing on a digital camera and uploaded it to YouTube.
Interestingly, at no point does the hapless Air India staffer on the scene attempt to stop the camera (not so sure if that would happen in other countries?) and, rather dramatically, he resigns in front of the angry passengers.
