Go and check it out quickly, as the company - CruiseAmour - is just about to launch its cruise online travel agency and the holding page will no doubt disappear.
CruiseAmour is a new OTA from the Freedom Travel Group, part of Cooperative Travel and a pretty big player in the UK.
Ahead of the launch, officials behind the site are claiming big things. Managing director Tim Hurrell says:
"As the Apple Mac of the cruise industry, our new website will be easy, intuitive to use, user centered, jam packed with authoritative content and above all else, a massive leap on from anything else that is out there in the cruise sector at the moment."
Strong words, of course.
But during the nervy period before switching the live button and to keep the curious amused amid such lofty statements, the site says:
"Bob, our IT expert is working hard to finish the new site in-time. Why not give him a hand by clicking on one of the buttons to the right."
Users can choose "Feed him coffee" or "Zap him!".
The result is rather amusing... But perhaps not in the style of a certain Steve Jobs.
