Make no mistake, Apple is taking the travel sector VERY SERIOUSLY with its ideas for iTravel.
The wonderful folk at Patently Apple have unearthed more submissions to the US Patents Office by Apple, this time showing what the iTravel application on the iPhone might do for the cruise sector.
Not only do the diagrams illustrate the basic functionality of the application, but there are some interesting social elements included - perfect for keeping traffic of friends and family on a vast cruise ship perhaps?
Interestingly, as Patently Apple says: "Apple's latest patent even surprises us with a very strong hint of providing a future iPhone with a pico projector so as to possibly enhance your travel experience by being able to show off your excursion iMovies to an audience."
Travel in the modern, digital world is all about recording the experience and sharing. Not so much of a surprise - in fact, wonderfully obvious and intuitive.
