A system to improve and streamline agency-to-customer services through a virtual kiosk won the Abacus Hack Day in Singapore during WebinTravel.
The even took place on October 19-20 2010 and drew developers from across Asia-Pacific together for 24 hours to see what they could create using APIs from Abacus.
The winning hack was created by Xu Chen-Jie, Ben Chen, Sam Chan and Henry Low.
As well as producing working code, the winners were asked to document the methodology behind the project and how it would work.
Here, Brett Henry, VP for marketing and VP in India at Abacus, explains why the company runs the 24-hour marathon each year and what happens to the winner.
The winning team was also presented with a cheque for Singapore $10,000 on-stage at WebinTravel.
