Travelocity is looking to get more up close and personal with the launch of a free concierge service for anyone booking a flight plus hotel package.
The Sabre-owned company is claiming an OTA first with the initiative which will email consumers with the hotline to their concierge.
Concierge services include restaurant, theatre and attraction advice and booking, driving directions, local events information and help in the advent of lost baggage/passport services.
The company says it wants to add value through the service and the launch comes as OTA's seek out different ways to extend their relationship with consumers over more of the holiday booking process.
