Delta Air Lines is keen on optional services, including its Delta Connect in-flight Wi-Fi, and the airline has added a big-name retailer, Amazon, to its line-up.
When passengers turn on Delta Connect, provided by Gogo, and launch their browsers, they get free access (no additional charge, that is) to both Amazon.com and AmazonWireless.
Talk about a captive audience? Passengers using their wireless devices on Delta flights can browse AmazonWireless to shop for all sorts of mobile devices and accessories.
Delta Connect also provides travel information, access to The Wall Street Journal and People magazine, "exclusive" retail offers and in-flight entertainment options.
