KLM has launched an app to help travellers find new places to go by shaking their mobile phone.
The KLM Tripshake app enables users to select a continent or date they want to travel on or leave fields open and be presented by one of more than 100 options.
Users are also provided with a ticket price and can then either click through to book or shake the phone for another option until they find something they like.
Destinations and prices can also be shared via social media.
KLM says the app, which is available in English, Dutch and German, is part of its multi-channel strategy enabling consumers to find travel inspiration via its website and mobile devices.
In the past year the Dutch airline has become known for its quirky social media campaigns and different marketing approach with initiatives such as its service enabling travellers to build their own city guides.
The Tripshake app is currently available for the iPhone with an Android service to be released in the next few days.
