Airlines may be adding ancillary services, but InterContinental Hotels Group apparently knows the meaning of ancillary service.
For U.S. stays between Sept. 1 and Dec. 30, 2010, InterContinental Hotels is compensating guests for the airline checked-bag fees when they book two-night weekend stays at all of its seven branded-hotel companies.
Among the qualifying rules, guests must pay for their stays with Visa credit cards.
To get compensated, guests must download a rebate form and submit with copies of their hotel receipts.
InterContinental will compensate guests up to $850 in IHG Visa prepaid cards for qualifying stays during the promotion period.
