Hotel digital marketing company Buuteeq is all about helping independent hotels reduce distribution costs and boost conversion, and the startup hopes to convert a $3.5 million Series A funding round into international expansion.
Mike Galgon and Geoff Entress led the investment round, which also included other angel investors and Benaroya Capital Co.
Total funding raised to date is $5 million, Buuteeq says.
Seattle-based Buuteeq, which was featured in a TLabs Showcase here, says its digital marketing system is in use by independent hotels in more than 10 countries, and the new funding will enable the company to expand geographically and to enhance its solution.
