VoyHoy is tackling one of the sectors that many have predicted will be big at some point - multimodal search - in a different way.
Instead of thinking big, this Chilean brand is taking a very regional approach to the problem, capturing rail, air and bus content for its market.
The product is one of the most polished that has entered the sector so far and, given the apparent regional need for a variety of transportation options, has the potential to become a useful player.
Goals for 2019
For the upcoming year, VoyHoy plans to expand its ticket coverage and grow its network of B2B partners with its distribution and white-label products. The company is also going to focus on complementing its existing coverage with new airlines and bus companies, rural transport, tourist shuttle services and operators that service hard-to-reach places like national parks, island destinations and locations only accessible by peripheral transport modes.
Additionally, VoyHoy will start sharing its inventory more actively through its partner API, white-label products and customizable tools, such as its “smart ticket” technology, to other players in the travel space.
