Retail automation company Swyft is partnering with CVS to
bring contactless kiosks to hotel lobbies.
In addition to typical vending products such as snacks and
toiletries, the machines will also be stocked with personal protective equipment
such as masks and hand sanitizer.
Guests can make purchases from the kiosks any time of day using
their smartphones.

For hotels, the company says the solution is “completely
hands-off” – automatically restocked and maintained so it does not require
management from staff.
“As our location partners are increasingly seeking to reopen
to the public, we responded by leveraging our expertise to quickly bring to
market this cost-effective, turnkey store delivering a great consumer
experience with highly curated brands and products that address the needs of
the consumer during the COVID-19 crisis,” says Gower Smith, CEO of Swyft.
“We are also excited to work with our great brand partners
and do our small part in kickstarting the economy.”
Swyft is providing the machine and management services and
CVS provides the products.
