JetBlue has launched a new climate platform to
help its customers contribute to the purchase of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)
to offset the emissions of their flights.
The platform is powered by Chooose, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Stratup for 2023,
which has signed several other partnerships in recent months including with American Express Global Business Travel, Booking.com, Amadeus, Trip.com, Skyscanner and several airlines.
JetBlue customers can use the platform to
estimate the CO2 emissions of their flights and then contribute to a fund to
cover the difference in cost between SAF and conventional jet fuel.
