For halal-conscious families, finding accommodations that suit their specific needs can be challenging on traditional travel booking platforms.
With London-based online travel agency HalalBooking, halal-conscious travelers can easily filter hotels based on criteria such as halal food availability, alcohol-free arrangements and pool and spa seclusion.
Families can even search for and book hotel rooms based on the number of children traveling and their ages, features made possible by HalalBooking’s granular data structure, says the company’s CEO, Elnur Seyidli.
HalalBooking claims it’s the only OTA focused on meeting the needs of global halal travelers. Currently a $100 million company, it hopes to be valued at $1 billion by 2025.
Seyidli presented HalalBooking - which was the runner-up for the People's Choice Award - during the Launch competition at Phocuswright Europe 2022.
