DISTRIBUTION: Amadeus has signed content agreements with 15 airlines as part of a deal with the Arab Air Carriers Association. It expands on an existing contract with 13 carriers with the AACO signed in 2008... More here.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE: Remington Hotels will use Springer-Mill Systems to power the PMS, point-of-sale and spa management tools at the chain. More than 90 hotels in the U.S. are part of the Remington group... More here.
LOCATION MARKETING: Arrivalist launches A3, a new tool to allow marketers to track consumer exposure to branding down to the nearest 30 feet. The company has also hired ex-Huffington Post chief revenue officer James Smith to the same role.
RESERVATIONS: Chakela Hotels & Resorts has signed a deal with Sabre to have the SynXis Central Reservations System power its consortium of hotels in Africa. The group consists of 104 independent members.
LOYALTY: Payback will work with Indian online travel agency Goomo (recently funded in a $50 million round) to allow its customers to earn points in return for booking flights, hotel and package travel, as well as use points to buy travel products.
