Travel planning service Wanderlog has attracted $1.5 million in seed funding from General Catalyst and Abstract Ventures.
The startup, which was launched in 2019, enables users to plan their trips on the web as well as via its mobile apps.
The company, part of the Y Combinator program in 2019, aims to provide users with an alternative to existing tools, such as spreadsheets and Google docs, used by travelers to plan and share trip information.
It allows travelers to import hotel and flight reservations as well as receive personalized suggestions for trips.
Founders and brothers Peter and Harry Xu researched the idea for Wanderlog by asking more than 100 travelers how they plan their trips.
Prior to developing Wanderlog, the pair built air booking sites BookwithMatrix and All the flight deals.
The startup recently unveiled a pro subscription service offering users additional functionality including exporting trip places to Google Maps.
